Hidden Figures

This amazing true story of African American female mathematicians, working at NASA in Hampton, Virginia, tells of their contribution to the “space race”. Through their determination, ambition and perseverance, they were able to overcome obstacles and barriers that were prominent during times that women and people of color faced many challenges.

Yet Dr. Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughn, and Mary Jackson goes on to show how important STEM is to the future. These women will continue to serve as role models and inspiration for our future generations.

Congratulations to the writer, cast, producers for the 2017 Oscar nomination for “BEST PICTURE” category.
